TapShorts is built with privacy as a core principle. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.
None. TapShorts does not collect any personal information, usage data, analytics, or diagnostics.
All of this data is stored locally using standard iOS mechanisms (UserDefaults) and is never transmitted anywhere.
TapShorts uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with Flic 2 buttons. Bluetooth data is processed on-device by the Flic SDK and is not sent to any server.
TapShorts Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription managed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Payment processing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. TapShorts does not have access to your payment information.
TapShorts does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. The only third-party component is the Flic SDK, which operates locally on your device to manage Bluetooth button communication.
When you press a Flic button, TapShorts triggers an iOS Shortcut by name using Apple's Shortcuts URL scheme. The shortcut runs within Apple's Shortcuts framework on your device. TapShorts does not access, read, or modify the content of your shortcuts.
TapShorts does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app does not collect information from anyone.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. Since TapShorts collects no data, changes would only reflect new features or clarifications.
